There was plenty of excitement in the Junior Infant classroom today as our butterflies began to emerge from their cocoons. So far two butterflies have emerged. We hope the remaining three will emerge in the next few days. They have been in their cocoons for almost two weeks. It will take a few days for their wings to grow stronger before we can release them. In the meantime, we will feed them sugary water and fruit.
