There was great excitement in Junior Infants today when we found out it was time to release our butterflies. We decided that the Secret Garden was a nice place to release them as it was safe and quiet enough for them to stretch out their wings and fly for the first time.

It looked like the butterflies didn't want to leave us for a while but eventually four of them took flight. We still have one little butterfly left. We are going to let him/her build up a bit more strength over the next few days before we release him/her. We also had a few people absent today so hopefully they'll be back to release our last butterfly.
