The children in 5th and 6th class had a great day out at Fairyhouse Race Course today. They got an insight into the inner workings of a race course and the lives of jockeys and trainers. They even got to meet Lord Lariat, the winner of last year's Irish Grand National, his stable hand and his trainer, Dermot McLoughlin. The children also got to test out their own riding abilities on the RACE simulator. Special thanks to Horse Racing Ireland for the invitation and organising such a great day out.
