Students at The Schoolhouse Montessori enjoyed a ‘Messy Morning’ with Aidín McGuill from Rathbeggan N.S. After discussing the important jobs their bodies do, they investigated a number of activities designed to engage all their senses.

They had to complete a rescue mission to save their favourite toys from ice blocks. The children had to find letter sounds in rice while others had to pick up hidden insect toys with tweezers. They also enjoyed creating writing patterns in glitter, concocting colourful potions and grinding up various foods and describing their smells.

A fun day was had by everyone. Thank you to Andrea at The Schoolhouse Montessori for allowing us into your school.

If parents are looking for further information on enrolling their child in Rathbeggan N.S please contact the school on office@rathbegganns.ie or 01 – 8259891
