Rathbeggan Champions!

It was an exciting weekend for the Girls' Gaelic football team in Rathbeggan. The girls represented their school in Páirc Tailteann on Sunday in the Cumann na mBunscol Division 3 Final. They played an amazing game and fought hard from the throw in until the final whistle against a strong Skryne side. The score finished as 2-6 to 0-4. The girls put on a fantastic display of teamwork and skill. For the first time in 19 years, Ratbeggan girls lifted the cup in Páirc Tailteann in front of all their supporters. We are all so proud of the girls, what a phenomenal achievement!
